ABOUT ME

My name is Alex and I graduated from Roehampton University in 1999 with a 2:1 in English and History with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
I have worked in both the state and Independent sector for the past 22 years in both KS1 and KS2. During my teaching career I have coordinated different subjects including English. 
I loved building up a pupil's confidence and getting the best from them. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a pupil start to believe in their ability, to see and be part of that light bulb moment. 
I am a Level 7 Dyslexia Specialist Teacher and Dyslexia Assessor. 
I believe it is important for a tutor to provide work for the individual child and that is where I pride myself.
